okay, i've been babbling about these 89 dollar coilovers since i first came on the board (actually i think i mentioned them in my first post).

well, lastnight after losing an ebay auction for a header at the very last second, i got pissed off and decided to buy something else. so i ordered a set of coilovers, 1-3in drop, generic brand. they should be here in a week or so and i'll post how good they really are. after all, I'd rather have the adjustability of coilovers, no matter how cheap, even if the ride was a little worse.

I was reading somewhere, that there is a company that does sell GC coilovers, as non labeled brands. So they should be good. But I dont know if these are them.

oh no! you ordered from shAIM :( hopefully they dont charge you out th as for shipping which ends up taking weeks :(

I've had bad experiences with them...with parts for my trucks and my civics :( dont anyone ever buy the adjustable camber arms.....after hours and hours or trimming they were not anywhere near clearing the wheel wells...horrible...

sorry...not being a dick...just ranting...good luck and let us know..

I had Matrix coil-vers when I first got my hatch. I thought they were alright for the time being until I changed my shocks (Tokico), thinking the ride would improve. Not even a little did the ride improve, still bouncy as hell. I yanked out the coil-overs and installed a 2.5 drop spring (Gold line) These springs feel real close to stock, no bouncing at all and I was happy to get them wholesale for $100! I don't think I'll ever go coil-over again....unless I plan to get one of those coil-over and strut combo's that are an arm & a leg. Just my 2 cents on this.

yeah im going to install them myself. I dont really car about ride quality, its not like our cars ride like a Lincoln anyways, i just want to slam it. factory ride height looks so cheesed out. I've been fighting against my inner urge to cut the springs just to lower it but now that i got coilovers i can put that thought to rest :)
