acceleration sucks

i know this isnt the honda section but i cant get an answer in the cr-v forum, so my question is on my dads cr-v, ill be driving down the highway and its like the acceleration just cuts off! you have to take your foot compleatly off the gas for it to accelerate again. any i deas on what the problem could be?

plugs and/or plug wires

dirty fuel filter

water in the gas tank [depending on where you live]

it's a honduh

could be any of those, the last one was just aksing for it... ;)

You've been around long enough to use the subforums.

Possibly a stuck throttle body plate? Hard to determine without more information, and we don't have a lot of experience with those...
