hmmm im not sure if this is a problem or not.... the manual on the luminas is very indirect on what it says. i just noticed the yesterday that i had my car just idling for 30-45 mins or so..... turned it off and on a few times... was messing with my amp and my subs.... well when i got back in teh car the temp gauge was almost 3/4 to the redline... the temp gauge goes from 40C-125C so thats around 100C..... what is the normal temp of this 3.1L engine?? umm, and i heard something about the 2 fans on the rad are different.... the one on the drivers side is for a/c and when the engine gets too hot the passenger one kicks on.... note that when i started to drive it the temp did go down some... is the normal temp at around 100?? or is it around 80 which is the middle?? and yes all my fluid levels are where they should be

Welcome Aboard!
The fans operate somewhat as you describe, although the secondary (left) fan will also operate even without the A/C compressor if the primary fan cannot cool adequately. The programmed primary fan turn on/off temperatures are typically 226ºF on, 220ºF off (108º/104º). By your observation, it is probably not abnormal, given the allowable variation in CTS and dash gauge sending unit tolerances.

so if they turn on around 108 or so... then thats around where i saw it mayb y a little more since the gauge is 40-125C
so its over 3/4 mark.. aight thanks alot
