99 300m ac compressor cycling

Hi, have a 99 300m that the AC compressor is cycling on and off with a mind of its own, anyone know what sensors to check and what else might cause this?

Have you pulled any trouble codes off your car??? The same computer codes the garages use to troubleshoot your car, you can get yourself free of charge.

Put keys into ignition, turn the car on then off 3 times in under 5 seconds. Third time leave the key in the "ON" position and you should be able to read any codes in the odometer.

Obviously "ON" in this situation means to the point right before your car actually starts. Report any codes you pull here at the forum.
