DMC-Style Concept Car

To whom it may concern:

My friends and I have been longtime fans of DeLorean motor cars. We have each owned at least one, and every one of them has gone through a total rebuild in some portion of the car. Mine went through a total drivetrain and electrical re-design, my friend's D went through an interior reinvention, and our shop help's D was "rebodied". All of the cars went through some drivetrain swaps, but only mine was permenant. After spending several thousands of dollars on our cars, and keeping the designs, we've managed to put all of the designs into one set, a concept we've called Project SMX. The car has been dubbed the "Alpine" by one of the boys at the shop, for unknown reasons, and seems to be a fairly similar concept to the original D, but with sufficient changes. We are planning to submit these plans to DeLorean Motor Company in Texas if people think the concept seems fisable. Here are some of the cars specs:

Working on getting some pics of my car's current "heart transplant" from the present owner... not so easy since he lives five hours away, but I'll try. As for the other cars, I've contacted my buds and they should have some pics of our projects on the way. We will be building a website soon that will have the "blue sheet" sketches of the cars, and a little more specific information on the motors (we didn't really use as wide of a range of motors as the above artice indicates, they were just put there for thought, and one was forgotten entirely, the Jaguar-based 4L I-6)

Anywho, I'll see if I can't get some picture proof.

Friends concluded that they didn't want to release pics of the vehicles until the project is complete. I understand this, and have agreed also not to release pics of my own. However, I would like the forum members to put in their ideas for new prototype cars. I have people ready to invest if I can put together an interesting concept that they approve of.

So, this said, please feel free to give me ANY ideas you may have. Even if that means just a feature or two, or a whole car, or just picking/choosing from the features I have listed above. I need to consolidate the choices and get one model of car figured out for the business plan and the investment, and I can't do it on my own.

INPUT! NEED MORE INPUT! :banghead:

Thanks for your time, and your posts!
