2000 Bonneville SSEI starting problem

When I go to start my car, more often than not it will idle very rough for a few seconds and then shut off. When I turn the key again, it starts and runs perfectly. Also if I start it and it is running rough I can turn the key off and re-start the car and it will run just fine . Any suggestions ?
