No spacers...15x8.5 in front...15x7 in the rear (jdm baby) ;) No rotary on on the Miata..it's my daily driver. Probably go turbo in a few months..or supercharger.

yeah u dont post often nemore but a few yrs ago when u did i collected pics of your car..i knew it looked familiar..i really do love miatas..problem is im just a bit too big for one being 6'1 280 (all muscle baby):icon16: i do got a question tho..i dont know the extent of suspension/handling mods you have done..but how do u compare your civic to your STI on road courses? im guessing your civic would be a mid to low 13sec car also.

Actually my Civic is an 11 sec car. I haven't taken either one to a road course but my Civic handles really good in an AutoX course (2nd to the Nat'l Champ), except right now I have traction issues...It's in the process of another "transformation", Hoosier is coming out with a new tire (275/35/15)...I will be running 15x10 in front and I'll kick the 8.5 in the rear...

btw, my sti has upgraded turbo, bigger intercooler etc...putting out 305whp..but my civic will kick her a*s anytime :)

Both my wheelsets on my Miata are RS Watanabe too. 15x7.5 and the other one is 17x7.

sup irvin! cars always looking good, nice other rides also :D im still around. my ef is nonoped right now. you live close to my now ex-fiance. I've seen Junji a few times driving around, though he wouldnt reconize me as Im in a silver 96 civic coupe now for a DD. Gonna swap a stock engine in the red car at some point to get it back on the road :) hows everything man?

On Fridays too, Milpitas meet, run what you brung ;) I think some of the old Honda fellas are there...I forgot his name but he used to drive a 99 Civic Si (middle eastern)..He now drives an S2000.
I can't go this Friday tho, cuz I'm racing really early on Saturday (Infineon), try to come I'll be there all day.

Milpitas meet is at Bubbles (kinda like tapioca express), where 880 & 237 meets..I've only been there once, so I can't really describe how to get there..It's very easy to find though, you can't miss it.

EF LSVtec's has one sweet hatch. Kind of find it a bit hard to believe it's in the 11s though. Although, it looks like you've thrown serious money at it.

I thought bambam sold his and drove a BMW now. Thought he was in the 13s. You don't hear about Honda Civics breaking into numbers that low without spending a ton of money. Like I said, EF LSVtec probably has a ton of money into it and he can drive too... yet I am skeptical.

Ive seen a 10 sec crx with at least all of the interior from the seats forward..was too dark to see into the hatch, but he was using nitrous as well.

No worries, once I get a chance to take my car to Wednesday night drags at Infineon again, I'll post my time slips. The last time I was there, I borrowed my friends slicks and i ran 12.2 and that was on my semi-built motor, putting out under 220whp. My car is not built for drag racing so I don't normally go, since I fear braking my axles...that's the only weakest part of my set up (i think)..anyway, here's my set up list..

GSR head, port & polish, oversized Ferrea valves, toda spec C cams/valvesprings/camgears, titanium retainers, Type R lost motions, TWM itb's (50mm) matchported, Cometic head gasket, jhpusa oil bypass line
B18b block, RS machine sleeved to 85mm, Wiseco pistons (12.1 cr), Eagle rods, blueprinted, GSR block girdle & oil pickup/windage tray, type R oil pan, Toda flywheel, Exedy stage 2 clutch, YS1 tranny (quaife lsd 4.7 fd), DTR custom header for 2.0, Hondata S300/P72 ecu (obd1)

Yes. That is an impressive set up and I realize that you're an awesome driver... and also that the car was set up for autocross not drag. I love the pic of the car on 3 wheels. Haha. Your vehicle is truly an example of how all motor Hondas should be built. GL
