should've taken a picture, but I was pretty amazed in the view myself and didn't think too much about it tell we were done.

Had a HUGE old tree stump in the backyard that we dug mostly out by hand, cut what roots were left, then started to use the cummins diesel to pull it out - there were roots underneith that we couldn't get the chainsaw too.

Before we could get the diesel back to the tree, we had to move the boat - in which we hooked up ole faithful. Mind you our yard is about 2-3' of mud with all that snow this past winter melting into the dirt/yard; so we slightly lowered the psi on the Rodeo's tires, remember this is a 4x2, being hooked to a 4k LB boat in 3' of mud.

Anyhow, we pulled the boat straight out, wiggled the diesel truck around, got the stump out - after putting it in 4-low and flinging mud everywhere. Which was kind of fun & interesting to do with nearly bald tires; it's getting new tires ASAP :banghead: There goes another $750-800 for Firestone Destination M/T's.

Ran into a problem though; the diesel dragged the stump out to the front yard - decided at this point, we were gonna use it for decoration purposes, but the diesel was too big to swing it to where we wanted it, with two other big trees on either side, a huge public service utility box, and an extremely STEEP incline that would've for sure had the diesel sitting on it's A$$ literally!

The stump proved too heavy for our lawn-tractor, the Amigo would've been great to use for it's size, but don't have a hitch on it. The Tacoma was not even a suggestion, making payments on it, therefore it's getting babied BIG time  Ole faithful was our ginny pig - as usual!

So we put the boat back where it needed to go, then hooked the chain around the stump to the back of the Rodeo - let a bit more air out of the tires, cause this truck's gonna be bouncing up that STEEP hill, it was the only way to angle that stump in where we needed it.

Let's just say, after we got the stump where we needed it, the truck was caught centimeters from within a huge cottonwood and the public service utility box, still unscathed with the exception of mud. Two people went to the top of the short, but very steep hill to block off on-coming traffic down the two-lane road beyond the hill - it was the only way out.

Put that Rodeo down in 1st and allowed it to walk up the hill, I have no idea what that incline really was, but there were a few seconds I thought for sure that truck was gonna flip over backwards - all I could hear was everyone yelling, DON'T STOP!!!

Should've seen the looks we got from people getting out of their cars to see what was going on. Only thing that got damaged was the hill itself, the end of the hitch off the Rodeo dug itself into the yard as we were going up.

Sounds like the old Rodeo needs a good bath after all that.

the end of the hitch off the Rodeo dug itself into the yard as we were going up.

I've done that many times. My hitch has been well abused but its kept me from tearing off the bumper more then a couple times.

Speaking of mud.. not mine but took cool looking not to share. This is rodeoreds black '99 with some canadian mud on it.
