Hi, I have a 97 towncar with 64000 miles on it. My question is I am getting this kinda sounds like a comonation of ticking and squeeking sound form under the hood. We have recently had major wind and rain up here in the northeast and I am kind of thinking that it moisture that has got up under the hood on maybe one of the belts this sound is very slight and u cant even hear it unless you are outside the car or you have the windows down and even then it is really not that noticeable(just wondering if its going to get worse). It seems to get better as the car warms up I noticed. Any input would be appreceated..........Thanks

Check the Serpentine Belt Tensioner, and Idler Pulley. You can do this with a rubber hose as a listening device, one end near you ear, and the other end close to the suspected component.

Hmmm, 64k miles.. the Belt carriers should be good at 64ki miles. Also listen to the Alternator...

Don't let anything get caught in the moving parts... that might hurt a bit :(
