-5 on the boost guage... at idle... does that mean vac leak or is that normal?

i really dont no whats normal for vac, but i vac usually between -25 and -16 (16 at a cold start, and 24-25 when im in gear and coasting) (i usually sit at -19 vac)

you have a vaccuum leak....

where did you tie in your vaccuum ports?? You're supposed to tie them into the vac hose running to the brake booster BEFORE the check valve. One thing that might make your life easier is a vaccuum manifold....like mine

That little vac manifold is a good idea. Looks like it makes for a cleaner install of all the lines.

yeah, I fixed it.. I had a brain fart... and installed the boost controller between the fpr and the bov instead of the line from compressor to wastegate... so changed that around and startup vac = -15, op temp = -20... so I'm good...
