91 Jimmy S-15 problem with windshield washer sprayer

Hello everyone,

Hope someone can help. Recently my windshield washer system quit working. The pump works fine, the washer fluid gets to the end of the hose when I pull it out, but then it does not spray the windshield. Instead it just ends up leaking out onto the ground. It was working fine until a few days ago, and now this. Will I have to take off the plate that covers the sprayer or sprayers? How do I fix this without incurring high costs at a shop?

Appreciate any help I can get.

Welcome to AF. The outlet nozzles may be clogged, try and clean them out with a small pin.

How do I access the outlet nozzles?

The black plastic part that you pulled the hose off of is the nozzle. un-clip it from the wiper arm and clean it out. Blowing backward through it might help too.
