I get to see so much worse here in Ohio... Try 89 Sunbirds rusted out with a nice big aluminum wing on em... :shakehead

Actually, if that first one didnt have those POS chrome wheels and put on some 20" gunmetals or something it might look alright (that is if those arent vinyl graphics on the side and are actually painted). I think thats a Wings West wing. The second one is hard to tell from that angle, but that wing looks a little too big to look good.

you're forgetting about the instant power you get from the stickers. I think they give some 5 hp a pop :naughty: and the spoiler will add some g-force to the rear wheels on this "RWD" car. :shakehead
I personally like my cars clean. Maybe some rims, but not chrome. Tint is alright. The spoiler being something that "cleans up" the air behind the car may be a reason, but I don't think spoiler or no spoiler makes any difference in mileage at freeway speeds.
Why put a spoiler like that on a car unless the car can actually go speeds to create enough downforce like on this car...

I guess I forgot about the mad HP gained from stickers...what was I thinking lol.
If I were going to do a lot of serious track days I would put a front splitter on and a rear spoiler that actually has a tuneable angle because of the snap oversteer in high G sweeping turns. Yes this car is FWD, but if you figure out how to compensate for the understeer you will get mad oversteer which could be solved by the spoiler. It is obvious these cars are not track worthy, so that second spoiler is right out for anything other than onboxious homosexuality.

Yeah, Ohio is pretty messed up, some kid I used to go to school with had the biggest wing I ever did see on his...uhh...98 Cavalier. I cant possibly imagine the speed he'd have to travel to actually notice the difference.

I suppose folks could argue in a similar fashion "why have that little bump on the hood of 2G eclipses if they only have a tiny little 2L motor?", or, "why have air-inlets on the side of Mustangs if they are fake and don't really flow air to cool the rear tires?". Most of these things are purely for the sake of design...if form actually followed function, the average road car would be very, very dull. Though in this case, I wouldnt go with that wing either.
