ok so as most of u know by now, yesterday at 7:15a.m a school shooting happened at Virginia Tech College.
this is wat's known so far as of 25hrs later. there are around 36 people dead, and many others that were wounded. we all pray in some way for them. but lets not put the blame on what it will be put on, gun control.
when columbine happened, 10 years ago(if u can believe that), gun control was again blamed. but in reality of that incident it wasnt gun control, it wasnt eminem, and it wasnt marilyn manson. it was the fact that no one responded to it.
this is a quote by Ted Nuegent, " we shouldnt teach gun control, we should teach what to do in this incident, we had bomb raid and fire drills as kids, and they still have fire drills, but nothing teaches about gun safty, or what to do around one."
i have to agree. at columbine, there was an instince of only one shooter being in a library, and over 30 kids. 5 died and 10 were injured. as Ted also said, if they had rushed him, they may have ended up with 1 dead or 1 injured, everyone knows a gun has to be reloaded.
now i'm not saying that the easyness of getting a gun is not to blame, but dont make it the only thing.
1) when the first shooting happened, nomatter the size of the school and the amount of kids attending, there should have been an imediate closing of the school, especially when u dont have the killer. that's the biggest one
2) dont pick on the small people, from details, he was a 5'4" asian that was scrawny and a "nerd" in apperance. didnt they cover that in 1998.
3) gun control, if u cant drink until your 21 u cant have a gun untill ur 21. finger technology, they are working on it, but how long does it possibly take to put that plan into action, it would go thru congress and the pres in 2 days.
4) dont at all even attempt to blame it on society, music has nothing to do with anything, other than crazy people who think they hear something when listening to music backwards and it says do it. and at that, crazy people, as someone once told me, are the sane one's, it's the sane people that are insane.
other stats, not only is the rampage of yesterday the largest in the USA ever, it's the largest in the world not involving a militaristic group.
so pray for all those who have died and to thier familes

i agree with you bro....but this really belongs in the OT thread.
oh and the blame doesnt rest on anything exept the crazy bastard that pulled the trigger. Period. I'm 5'5, kinda nerdy, and i took my fair share of shit in high shool. So do millions of kids. But you dont hear about them bringing a gun to school.
