Painting body kit yourself! HELP!

i just got a body kit its fiberglass ... i cant get the special primer to stick.. its liek fISh Eyeing on me i tryed sanding more but still. i tryed cleaning it with prep wips to take off oil any suggestions PLEASE HELP!
