98 ford escort

I just had my engine replaced in my escort. bummer, right?
I've had it back for a day and this is what is going on...
when my car decelerates to a stop the car sputters/and or shuts off. I am not sure if it's the PCV valve, or the idle control valve? or something else..
Second: my automatic locks will not work. I replaced the fuse and it blew right away. My left rear window will not roll down from the driver's side, but it will roll down from the left rear door. when i try to roll the window down from the driver's side the headlights dim. all the other windows work fine.

also, my mechanic discovered the reason for the defect in the engine that was to be replaced was due to a spilt valve guide. This is a factory defect...I just emailed Ford and am awaiting their response, any suggestions?

well if you still have warrenty the valve defect should be coverd by ford but being that its a 98 i dought its under warrenty and they going to say tuff snuff... the windows is probably ur driver side door switch... if not it has a bad ground and you should check that aS WELL
