Hi All:
I haven't posted a new thread in quite a while because my 93 SSE quit stalling after I checked a few things on the engine (MAF, ICM and other grounds, coils, ICM functional test at Autozone, TPS). The engine is stalling again and I was thinking of trying to clean the TPS. I'm pretty sure that I read a thread that had a statement that an individual cleaned the TPS on his engine? I'm not sure if the TPS on the '93 model year can be cleaned. If any of the experts on this forum know if and how it is done could you leave a post?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Jim

The TPS is just a spring loaded potentiometer, so there isn't much you can clean. You might try cleaning the plug terminals if there is any corrosion. Beyond that you can only replace it.

When u say you checked MAF how did you check it.How does car run when not stalling,do you have any voltage gauge problems when it stalls.Does it start right back up after it stalls.
