I just bought a 95 Wrangler "S" w/ 2.5 ltr and would like to know what is the best type of plug to run in this engine, I have heard that the Champoin truck plugs work well in the older 4.0's , is this true for the 2.5's, or should I look at Bosch, Autolite, or NGK?

The truck plugs are really good.

Might I suggest that you also install a "Livewire" (Preformance Distributors) that is easily installed. It will require an increased gap in the spark plug (because of the bigger spark from the coil) and you will see the increased power.

The truck plugs are worthless and do not put in Bosch spark plugs in.Chrysler products run like crap with Bosch spark plugs installed.Put in Champions, the stock that came in from the factory.

Well, here is the verdik. I went and installed the truck plugs, and all is working well, especially after I flushed the injectors and cleaned the T-body. Also installed a HD Radiator to keep things cool this summer. The wife runs it about 60 miles a day, and seems to be doing well. ALso installed a set of KC 130 Watt SLIM LINE lights (BRIGHT!!) Was thinking about a T-body spacer, is it really worth it?. I realize there is only so much power I will get out of this 4 banger. Also another question, 1st gear doesn't seem to be very "tight". Is this common ( NOC- Normal Operating Caracteristic) or should I be looking at a possible rebuild. ( auto matic tranny)
