Who the hell cares? This is one of the stupidest arguments I think I've ever heard. Stock for stock 1/4 mile? Who cares. RWD,FWD,AWD, all different things, not even in the same boat. And sure, each car can get a J spec engine dropped in, and yadda yadda yadda, but does it really freakin matter? A car is only what it means to it's owner, not some random kid on a message board. Quit the magazine racing, spend the time modding your car, and stfu. And to the people with the blue oval comments, disliking a car solely for its brand is about as lame as it gets. BTW, I think 240's, except for some japanese silvias, are ugly as sin, plain and simple. Do ya hear me going around bashing them? Nope. Why bother, when I can spend that time doing something useful...

only read to the second page, just wanted to proveide some info on what probe-gt"R" is. its a probe gt with a turbo system dropped in. a pgtr with a klze platform walked a 2004 cobra svt till he hit limiter.
a klze with bolt-ons and a chemically ported manifold can hit a 13.8 in the quarter. so far the fastest 1/4 mile kl series platform (mx-6:probe:626) all motor was streetthismx6's kl A-spec ran mx6 with 13.5 quarter on nitto 555r's i believe were the wheels on 16's. the block was for the most part stock with some porting and some klze parts dropped into the klo3(A-spec) block. he is pulling around 200 whp.
if someone clames to hit 400 whp on the stock block it is indeed bs, especially on the klze. the klze comes stock with 10:1 compression ratio and higher duration lifts in the quad cams.
a klze equipped pgt with all the bolt-ons and a nitrous system (shot i believe was a 75 not sure, maybe a 100) and lightened FW and stage 3 clutch is capable of hitting low twelves though just to let you know.
on the track i dont know, i am more of a street and strip racer then anything, but alot of the autocrossers say its a beast especially for a FF car. thats the only complaint about my pgt-ze,its FF and the fact that its a car that was designed by Mazda and has a block that was engineered by porsche and has a ford badge and will forever be looked at has a car with no potential because of its badging.
also be careful when you say you are faster that a pgt, alot are like mine where they didnt come with gt or gts written on the rocker panel and many dont know that it comes with a six in it that can easily crank out 200 to the crank on just the A-spec block with regular bolt ons.
and i love siiiiillllvvvvviiiiiaaaaassssss!!!!! especially that s15 chop top drift machine. rock what ever you come along side of boys whether it be a probe or another sil.
