I'm pretty sure that is a custom model made by a Japanese modeler, not Tamiya.
I think zoomzoom showed me that once on some web site.

It's only "real" to the builder who has a seriously cool 1-off model. If that were an upcoming Tamiya kit, we'd already know about it well before someone was able to build it up like that.
I'm sure there will be plenty of street/racing models coming in the future of the impending new GTR.

That is a fantastic conversion job that somebody has undertaken. I doubt that Tamiya would model a car that is still at this stage a pre-production concept. The new GT-R has not been officially announced yet.

I doubt its a new kit, i gather it could just be a project from the R34 xanavi and some fantastic work put into it!

Yep, it's not a new kit. Why? Because if you'll notice they are JGTC decals, not Super GT.

Did some searching, found a buildup of this, how it was made.

Nissan withdrew their Skylines from the JGTC after the last kitset shape tamiya released, so the car is not real, it is an amazing conversion job.
