I have a 1998 villager. one of the front lug nut studs is stripped thanks to Walmart service. Anyway, I want to change it out, has anyone ever done this before? Do they just pound out? Anyone with a simple procedure for this would be a great help. Also do I get the new stud from the dealer?

thanks

I would just leave it alone for now. When and if you need axles or ball joints I would have the bolt replaced then. It will require similar labor so why not wait. 4 bolts hold just as well as 5. This is your vehicle so its up to you and I am making a recomendation on what I would do.
