I was thinking about making a purchase at Model Express (www.modelexpress.net). Has anyone ever purchased anything from them before????

Another question, what is Priority mail????????? Is that where they ship it in one of those trucks to your house, or is it in your regular home mail????? I have a P.O. box so wansen't sure what type of address I should put for my address.

Well, I can't tell you anything about the business dealings of Model Express. Website looks interesting enough, though... (might have to buy something from them, myself).

As for Priority mail, this is what the U.S. Postal Service says:

Priority Mail is First-Class Mail weighing more than 13 ounces and, at the mailer's option, any other mail matter (including regular First-Class Mail) weighing 13 ounces or less. Matter mailed in USPS-provided Priority Mail packaging is subject to Priority Mail rates regardless of how the package is reconfigured or how the marking is obliterated.

Priority Mail generally offers 2-day service to most domestic destinations. Often used to expedite matter mailable as First-Class, Periodicals, or Standard Mail. Priority Mail envelopes and boxes available at no additional cost at post offices.

I've dealt with that company on a regular basis and have nothing but kind words for their service:cool: I've spoken with the owner ( Dennis Krahn) before and can vouch for their quality. I highly recommend them! :) :)

I'm new to the 'sport' but I have ordered from Modelexpress several times, both by telephone and through their website. Their service is the best of any company I've ordered anything from. They're in Vancouver, Canada and they ship to the US a couple times a week. My stuff arrives two days after they ship it (I live in Minneapolis). I can't recommend them highly enough.

Between Modelexpress, HLJ, and Hobby Search, I've got all the kits I want to build, all I need now is the skills (and time) to do it right. :(

it takes at least week when sending things to canada from hawaii. since they ship it priority mail, you should recieve the package today, but tomorrow at the latest.
