2wire harness plug i cant figure where to plug in

i have a 2wire circular female plug on top of my transmission right behind the intake manifold

i cannot figure out where i plug it in.

ive search forever and i cant figure out where to plug it in

its a v6 4.0 ranger

Pictures would really help! What color is the connector housing?

Better yet, what are the colors of the two wires. Also do you sense anything wrong with the operation of the vehicle. Thirdly, check the two wiresw for power - hot all the time, ignition on only, run only, etc.
