dome lights will not turn off

my 2004 dodge durango slt v8 5.7L dome light stays on when I am driving and when I park sometimes the front dome goes off and the back stays on I try to turn it off by the switch it will not turn off. Is there anyone out there know the reason why.

It sounds like you have a bad ccn,or cabin compartment node.Thats the technical term for the instrument cluster.You might be in luck because there is a recall on durango clusters and if yours is involved it would probably need to be replaced
