Need Help Identifying a Big Block

I have the opportunity to buy a BB for cheap, but the owner knows nothing about it's origins, & I can't remove any sheetmetal before purchase. The only stamping numbers on the pad are: C1119222, & the casting numbers are: C 361959 P, & J 10 77. Behind the bellhousing it says; PASS HI PERF.I believe that means it's a '77, & I think the casting # makes it a 454, & I think the HI PERF designation is irrevelent. I am wondering if there is any way to determine if it is a 4 bolt, & what heads might be on this or any other information. Any help would be appreciated.

First i would make sure its a 454 and not a 396, just a quick eyeball to the harmonic balancer will do the trick, if theres a large notch on the balancer, means its a 396 they were externally balanced. than look for the numbers behind the alternator right or p/s of the block, should be a series of numbers and letters i think there are 7 of em and the last 3 are letters. then ya can use http://www.nastyz28.com/chevy-engine-code-stampings.php to tell ya what year and what it came out of.
Hope it helps ya

Beware of a seller that won't let you inspect the engine internals.

Sorry Bad81bu but the GM 396,402 and 427 are all internally balanced and the balancer should be smooth with no notches or cut outs. The GM 454 is externally balanced and has a notched balancer or dampener.
Not being rude, just trying to help.
