If anyone knows where to get them, how to custom make them...as in what intake to use from another car, or anything about how to get one. Please post :)

I'd like to know too. $230 for a K&N is rediculous.

Hey what's up, I put a Ractive Cone filter on my 22RE, it's in there but it ain't pretty, it's not cold air either, it's basically just a cone filter on the end of the VAF sensor.
The filter won't fit unless you undo a few of the hose clamps on your intake hoses, and push the hoses on a little further and redo the clamps, you need the adapter plate to adapt from the square VAF sensor hole to the round Cone Filter. I just built a little bracket to rest the VAF sensor on and wrapped bungy cords around it to hold it in place, I'll try to get some pics of it. It seems to give me a little more power, it only cost me $50.00 cnd for the Filter and $30 cnd for adapter plate. With a little ingenuity you can get it in there. I looked at the K&N set and it's pretty much the same thing as what i've got, oh yeah there's a smaller intake house that came off the stock air box, i just wrapped a coffee machine filter around the end and secured it with some rubber bands. Obviously i don't care about style so it's up to you on how you want it to look.
Function Over Fashion, is my motto.
