Replacing my manifolds next week just wondering if theres anyone who knows how hard of a job it is. Looks like a bastard of a job do i have to remove the A/C or can i work around it??? And my biggest fear snapping off an exhaust bolt any tricks of the trade for helping them on there way out?

Soak it all down with PB Blaster the night before. You'll thank yourself. But, when you say replacing your manifolds.. do you mean that as in your putting on some LT headers? :naughty: Not sure about the A/C. I know on my 3.4 I had to unmount the compressor from the accessory bracket and push it down as far as I could to get it to go to get it out of the way. Never had to disconnect the lines to it.

Don't need to remove the heads to do exhaust manifolds. In fact to remove the heads, you need to first remove the manifolds.

i did this on my old camaro, didn't have many problems.
had no a/c though.
plus i soaked it so nothing broke.
you can get gaskets from summit super cheap.
or your local pep boys.
i don't know what to do with those broken bolts though.

Soak it all down with penetrating oil (PB blaster, WD-40, etc), get the manifolds off. Then if there is enough bolt sticking out from the broken ones, use vicegrips to remove them. Again.. YOU MUST SOAK THE BOLTS WITH PENETRATING OIL FIRST!
