Need help

well i finished putting my head intake/exaust manifolds back on and got everything hooked up and started the car i still need to get a timing light and deal with the timing and adjust the throttle cable but there is still smoke coming out..........:mad: could this just be that i need to let it run and get all of the shyt out of its system then it will stop or is my block messed up what? and my gasket was blown and i was smoking white smoke *water* and i got the head worked on and got a new gasket and all, can anyone help?

You could have bad piston rings. This would cause smoking as well.

man i dont wanna deal with that shyt, right now i dont have the patience for it cuz i bought my car back in like july and ive driven it like maybe 15 diff times, im starting to get impatient, i think im gonna save up for a SOHC VTEC and go with that and then get a bseries later down the line, you guys and the d series swaps are getting to me ;)

what color is the smoke coming out??? when you had the head off did you look at the top of the pistons??? If they had oil on them you most likely have bad rings.

its still white and yea 2 of the pistons had like carbon build up on them but i dunno if any oil was with that

havent checked, didnt leave it running too long cuz the timing is off and i dont know if that will mess anything up
