:disappoin Went to AutoZone to get a code and it says P0113, which says its the Intake air temperature circuit high input. Okay heres the problem. Cant seem to find the place to put the new sensor. It is not in the air box. My car is a 1999 Mystique with a 98 motor I just don't know what the motor is from. The car was working fine until on highway and lost alittle power going up a hill and almost getting run over by BIG truck. It also said misfire in cylinder 2 so replaced the wires and plugs the check engine like is still on and its doing the same thing and the same code is still coming up. WE also replaced the MAF sensor and still the same. Any help please:shakehead

the IAT screws into the stock airbox. If its not there, then im guessing thats your problem.

ends up my problem is a valve job. seems i have 185 on 1,3,4 cylinder and 25 on #2 thanks for the reply though, if it is not there and someone put a different airbox on it what would someone do? would that have made the cylinder go bad or the valve?

I have a 1998 mystique it lost speed when my car went down! I had to replace the transmission and the wiring harness that goes to the transmission. The sensor is on the intake manifold. Look there okay it may help your problem if not then take it to the nearest ford motor company and put it on the machine Autozones machine will not figure out your problem completely. There are other things wrong with your car. Mystiques have a lot of problems with transmissions is your car a v6?

turns out that one of the valves has a hole in it. so now looking for valve job. unbelievably though its starting to cost as much as a new motor. thinking of just offering car for parts now
