Infiniti G20 Idle Problems Code P0505, Help!

I bought a 2000 Inifiniti G20 and when i take off in first gear the car pulled back almost like if it didnt have air. I took it to nissan and the diagnostic read code P0505 Idle Air Control Valve / Auxiliary Air Control Valve. Is this true that i have to take it to get programed or does the valve need replacing??
