Ok, so I finally got a code reader for my 94 caprice classic, and this is what it said (it had 2 errors)
43
Electronic Spark
Control Failure
41
Electronic Spark
Timing is open
EDIT: Does this even with engine running...

That's pretty cool, since there isn't an engine oil temperature sensor AFAIK - At least, there isn't on my '94, and I've had the engine on the bench. There IS an oil level sensor, and two oil pressure sensors, but not oil temperature. There is a transmission oil temperature sensor, however.
I'm going to take a guess that there is a PCM or PCM harness problem, like a noisy ground.

im actually wondering if it means the CTS sensor.. because yea, code 52 isn't even listed in my book (BUT, for Corvette C4's with the LT1, it IS listed)

hmm, i let the car cool down, and that code 52 disappeared by itself, and when i got home, it appeared again..
it's got to be the CTS sensor, otherwise why does this code only appear when the car is warm

The larger problem is that the error code shouldn't be appearing at all. The diagnosis for that code should be switched off in the programming.
What scanner are you using? Some scanners have a compatibility problem with the interim ECM/PCM from 1994 and 1995.

AutoXray 2500, compatible with almost everything, comes with 4-5 cables..

wait, can my car not have it's code cleared by the scanner? i was told that i could, but my scanner says that it can't clear the codes, and that i need to referr to the service manual..

That's a pretty good indication that the scanner is not 100% compatible, and/or is not bi-directional.
