Hey guys,

I am getting the classic thumpety thump thump when you glide obver smooth bumps on the passenger front suspension. I am confident it is a shot upper stut mount. Normally you would take the strut out via spring compressor and change the mount, reinstall. Is this going to affect my alignment, as i know the lower portion bolts to the steering knuckle, so am i changing the camber by defualt? Also, how long should this job take, if all goes well, assuming the rusty bolts come off with some pentrating oil. I hipe i dont need a torch, i dont have one.

ANyone have good luck with the mounts from Autozone? I hear some mounts are made for various cars, hence may not fit so well. Should i insinst on dealer for this part?
