An RX7 would definitely be cheaper but I know which I'd rather have. :)

I am told by my mech...who is an expert in RX7 and GTR...that it is rather easy and cheaper tp produce up to about 4OO horses in an RX7...but the engine won't last...in Malaysia at least, the RX7's owners always change their engine after it hits 1OOOOOkm coz by that time the car wud be in the workshop quite often!!BUT the engine is also cheap to get! I had driven an RX7 around the track and yes...it is frantic! But although it is smaller and lighter, I still prefer the GTR's handling capabilities...power delivery is more linear n you power out of a corner or on the straight secure in the thought that that the RB26DETT is not gonna explode or somethin'.....And yes...the GTR built quality is way way better than the RX7...my 7 year old GTR has not even a tiny squeak in the cockpit...the 5 year old RX7 I drove had all sorts of percussions in the cabin....it's like the whole percussion section of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra is there driving with you...haha...

they are both great car's and i have seen a rx7 with a swapped engine same one but with less than 5,000 miles on it, it was a fd3s with a 13b rew engine and it looked great and produced huge amount's of power it is true rx7's after about 80,000 miles the engine turn's into crap.that's why you should get a brand new engine and then highly modify it.the gtr is even better the handling in this car has taken my breath way but cannot compare to the evo's.

what? the gtr handling makes the evo's look and feel like an undersized family car.

Anyone want to take a bet? I bet $1 that would be basically $2 for you guys and gal downunder that Evo will never admit that he only owns a Yugo. Any takers?

You see this does not stem from just this post. He has never seen any of these cars, but claims to own all.
A poser if you will.

I'm not old enough to drive and I admit it see under my name. Well even if i could i would never lie about what i drive. Back on topic well I saw SP engineering tuner car it was a RX-7 body and its powerplant was the Supra TT's JZ engine and they named it the "Supra7". Looked very kool and it had about 700hp but I'd still take a GT-R over it for sure
