I can't believe it's been over 10 years since I last built a model.
Anyway, my wife had bought a Revell '69 Baldwin Motion Stage III 427 Camaro for my nephew's B-day. It was sitting around for awhile and the box got smashed. So she went out to pick out another kit for him and I opened the box to see how damaged it was.
Needless to say, it's fine and I am now building a model.:D

Post pics when your finished with it! I have that same kit in progress right now (well, the old version thats molded in red anyway :( ) and hopefully will finish it someday.
Those Baldwin Camaros were incredible cars. A book that I have has the story on them, and it says in there that they were made simply to scare the living &%*# out of the driver. :eek: :eek:

Sounds good, is that the Revell one that they did green with white stripes? I supposedly ordered that into my hobby shop to hold for me, and another stock 69 RS Camaro. When I got there to pick them up they had 2 Stock RS Camaros in a bag for me to try and cover up for not having the Baldwin motion :rolleyes: . I hope they order some soon, love the sound of a 454 in the morning :D

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I just set myself up an area and got started.:D All i need now is some transparent red paint and I've got it all.

Looks nice on the box, what are all the transfers in the back window? I was so close to getting this, and when I do it's going to be completely Black with white interior :D Pimp style colours! But I will chuck a nice big engine in there, supercharge it! Get some pics up soon! Why do you need transperant red? are Revell starting to mold lights in clear now?

Well, the chassis is about 99% done. I was missing part of the right side header, so I only have the left on at the moment.
The body needs another coat or two after a little more sanding. I went a little heavy on my second coat and had a run.:(
I decided to go with a different color than the box. I chose GM guards red. The rear wing and mirrors will be white. I haven't decided if I will be using the decals yet.
I'll try to post a few pics later
