Go with DSMLink if you want a tuning / logging tool. If you just want a way to capture data from the OBD port, pick up a cheap Palm and spend $125 on pocketlogger.

by what i got out of reading about link you have to have your computer made for it or sompthing like that.

It has to have an EPROM chip installed. So if you don't have a 95 ECU, then you need one, and then get the chip installed. I would say go with that than anything else. It's the most complete you can get. Better does not = easier.

You can... but you get what you pay for. Plus, you're limited with everything. Sure you can use an AFC, and some other small stuff, but it won't do that much.

i thought DSMlink was a 'cheaper' way from going to the AEM EMS. but i'm just goin to put in a v-afcII and tune it. than go dsmlink once i've saved enough $$$$ for tuning the dsmlink. but DD wise, i'd go s-afcII and tuning it is one heck of a headache though
