Can someone help me find the fuse box?

I own a 2004 Malibu. I do not have my owner's manual with me and I am having a problem with one of my turn signals. I found the fuse box under the hood just fine (and determined there was no problem there), but I am having trouble finding the fuse box which is usually located under the dashboard. I am guessing that the compartment is either well hidden, or I am completely useless. Can anyone tell me how I can find/access this fuse box?

Open the front door and look at the ends of the dash [the part of the dash the door will hide when closed].

The chevy malibu has 3 fuse box compartments. One under the hood, the second is in the left side of the dash exactly between the door and the dash just pullt out the cover. I think also it says fuse box on the cover. Inside the cover are listed each fuse anf their respectively amperage number of the fuse. The third one is located exactly in the same spot that of the seconf\d but thisone is in the right side of the dash. Is very easy to find them. Any question don't hesitate to ask

If your car happens to be on the epsilon chassis, there is one under the hood, one in the center console and one on the drivers side of the inside of the trunk.

However for the 2004 new body style Malibu there isn't really a separate fuse for turn signals so I doubt that is your problem. If you have old body style then more likely.

Thank you guys, after reading what you posted and looking for the fuse box during the daylight, I found it with ease (turns out I AM useless).

e2helper, I was not aware that the 2004 Malibu did not have a fuse specifically for turn signals. My problem is that my front right turn signal keeps blowing out on me. Once replaced, it will work for a couple of weeks before it dies out again. All other lights are working properly, and I was just hoping that the problem had a simple fix (i.e. a blown fuse) rather than a more complicated solution (new wiring?).
