I have replaced the head gaskets without marking the points on the wheels and now I cant get the timing correct, it is sparking but the engine will not run at all, not even a backfire (he he) but it does turn over and spark.
I have the Haynes manual but this is not much help to me as I do not know which engine I have in the car. It has an injector unit and is 1995cc petrol. I have lined up the crank with the timing cover and also the auxillery wheel and the valves all to TDC but the car still wont start. I have spent two days and now I am thinking of calling a mechanic to sort the timing. please please please can someone help me. My email address is [email protected] and my msn name is [email protected], thanks.:banghead:
