I was headin up to williamsburg for the weekend, botu an hour away im on 295 and a teenager, prolly my age flies by in an iroc with loud ass exhaust... i mean loud. I didnt pay much attention till he started weaving and duckin through traffic, he had a girl i nthe front seat, obviously trying to impress her. I caught up... gave him the usual "oh please" look, at which he took off... i followed suit. wasnt long before he gave up and settled into the far right hand lane... a good place for that particular car :-)

Are the IROCs fast? My brother-in-law had an IROC-Z and I remember him telling it made like 220hp. Is that about right? Ive never really seen one hooked up except for the nitro draggsters at the track.

Honestly your wife's car would pretty much skunk one. They are only marginally faster then the Mustang 5.0 when they are equipped with the 350 block. The 305 block was a complete turd, though the later year had 220hp, and could bust into the high 14's with a manual tranny (WOOT!!! That's POWAR!!!).

yea they're slow. i raced a 5.0 at the strip and he ran like a 17. pitiful.
