Intake Manifold-Vacuum Line???

Just wondering if anyone has an answer and possibly a picture that can help. I have a 2001 Kia Sportage and I believe there is a vacuum line that is supposed to be plugged into the center of the intake manifold. I haven't been able to find a stray line, and I hear constant suction from the nipple. I went ahead and blocked it and the car idles better. Any suggestions???
