1979 Tach wire Help ?

Does anyone know what color the tach wire is for a 1979 formula

Which type of ignition? HEI or separate coil? Separate coil you run your tach wire off the positive side of the coil, not sure about hei.

:grinyes:I'm using hei but I'm trying to figure out what color the stock tach wire from the car is so I can plug it in to the hei disrtibitor thank you
