Engine Restore Products Question

I was wondering if anyone on this forum has tryed to use any of those "Engine Restore" products that are out there , and if you have tell me what you though about them, im currently looking for information about them but u know how that goes when ur looking at the companys sites, there all supposably good . So any information would be great.

The TX7 engine oil product has micro-fine PTFE's so they won't get filtered out by your oil filter.I've also tryed the slick50 treatment and ruined an early 350 buick motor from a pluged oil filter that starved the cam bearings.I believe rislone is good for sticky rings and hydrolic lifters.

I have just used the engine restore product for the first time,my 350 motor has about 230,00 smoked some on starts and pulling out from stops, all that seems to have stopped, and it also seems to have regain some lost power. I am not a spokesman or anything ( HA HA ) but it has seem to make a big difference for me, I will use it again.I didnt want to try the stuff that looked has thick as tar,this is more of a oil consistancy,figuired it wouldnt plug filter or cause other problems.

I haven't used restore before, but the label is a good read. I'm glad to hear that it worked for your truck. Must have been sticky rings causing blow_by and oil consumption.It won't repair broken valve seals, but in some cases (NON OEM SEALS) it can expand them and seal the oil consumption there.

Ok what i want to know now is I just picked up this stuff called " SEAFOAM " is it pretty much the same thing becuase tey both seem to clean carbon buildup and they both seem to restore lost power in your engine... Explain
