There really is no point. Its a styling, or lack thereof, trend. Unless of course the point is to throw the handling of the car out the window, and make the CG really high, causing them to be a pain to drive and roll over easily.

It would be if I made the thread. :p I've been into customizing cars and motorcycles since i was a young teen but this new style of customizing is something I havent been able to figure out and, honestly, cant find what's so "sick" about it. I see it as the other kind of "sick" :puke: Put those wheels on a big truck or SUV but if you insist on making the ride high then just go ahead and make it a monster truck. It's just my opinion.

well said.. some people on this thread seem to be closed minded.. if its customized.. whats the problem with it.. yeah it may not be your style.. but its still a work of art none the less.. just becasue it isnt done the "way you want it to be" or the way it was done when you were growing up doenst mean that it didnt take alot of work and skill. each person has their own taste.. and everyone should respect that. I like all walks of customizing.. even down to the gassers, rat rods, hot rods.. and yes.. even the donks, boxes and bubbles.. if its customized.. I like it

as for the type of ride .. eh .. to each their own ... me personally, i don't like any wheel that has a larger dia' then the wheel opening ... i prefer for them to match in size or be slightly smaller ...

(and yeah that goes for those jacked up trucks as well) ...

as for the orig topic of the thread .. good work so far ... will look better with real lugs and such on there.
