I'm kinda new to the nissan world. I currently own an MR2 and I need something a little more low-key(cops suck) so I'm looking to build a sleeper in the near future and after doing quite a bit of searching and looking for ideas I've put an older sentra with a det motor in it towards the top of my list. I know a guy in town that has one-but haven't been able to contact him for any information, therefore I find myself here. I'd like to find the following information:
-What det motors and trannies will fit(I keep finding different info.)
-difficulty of the swap
-ease of maintanence(how hard is it to get to the starter, alternator, etc.)
-hidden costs that I will run into
-performance of cars that have done this or similair
-any info on the net that might be helpfull
Also any other ideas to some other nissan sleeper cars would be appreciated. Thank you.

The more common swap would be the bluebird sr20det. For more info on the swap check this: http://www.se-r.net/engine/swap .
