transmission swapping

Well, i was wondering what would be the best way to take out a transmission out of a 1992 lumina and put it in another lumina because i have a transmission that is shot in my 1992 lumina, but the body is in excellent condition, and no rust and it is blue, because i was thinking about taking the transmission out of my other lumina that is practically falling apart. what do u think?

Do you need instructions how to R and I 2 transmissions?

if parts car is junk torches will be youre best freind. cut motor,tranny and complete k frame and drop out of bottem.as far as good car you will need to unbolt frame and seperate all that is connected.(ball joints,tie rod and maybe rack).

be sure both Lumina's have the same transmission, as they were available with a 3 speed, and 2 different 4 speeds (one electronic, the other non-electronic)
