Beautiful lil girl there Curtis. They grow up so fast though. Soon she will be asking to take the TA for a spin with her friends...lol

And the answer will be HELL NO!

Damn car will be 24-25 years old by the time she gets her license.

Thats close to being a classic I think...lol

Assuming the car is still around, 25 years is a classic. Don't think the grand am will last that long, but the ss should, wanted to take it out but it keeps snowing out here.

I am thinking my Grand Am (2001) will be gone for an Acura TL or Nissan Maxima in 2 years.
Either that...I run it into the ground.

T/A will eventually get a blower. I am sure that is several years down the road though.

The TA is a monster already. All it needs is a blower...

Maxima is a nice car. It was on my shopping list, but I needed something I could throw 400lbs of dive gear into and not worry about rough roads, so I went with the xterra instead.

I have thought Titan as well.
But I just don't need that much vehicle. If I need to, I can always borrow my old mans F150.

I also looked at a silverado, same reason didn't need that much. Toyota rav 4, too small, pontiac vibe didn't seem to have the power to haul my fat ass and all the dive gear, and a honda cr-v, just didn't like that one.

You'are in to diving? What kind of gear do you have? I'm a rescue certified diver through PADI

Julie dives as well.
My old man does.

I might get into it when Sara gets old enough. Would be a ton of fun.

Oh...and I understand the lack of power in a Vibe. Julie has one.

You should try it sometime. I was standing on the back of a dive boat in aruba 3 years ago and was picking out the rocks on the bottom. The water was 35 feet deep at that point. As for dive gear, I have 4 80cf aluminum tanks (2 belong to the wife, she dives as well but not this summer), 7mm wetsuit, hood, gloves and boots, seaquest malibu bc, aeries atmos xt bc, aqualung titan regulator, suunto cobra dive compter, mask, fins, snorkel, and enough lead (35lbs) to get my fat ass to the bottom.

The tank is what I don't have. I have a DUI CF 200 dry suit, Seaquest Black Dimond BCD with the secondary reg on the inflater deflater which is a pain but one less thing off the first stage, Ion dive computer, fins, mask, hood, gloves.

Diving is alot of fun. I got spoiled when I went to Mexico, Oregon water is to silty after that... 85 degree water at 35 ft. 73 degrees at 135 ft. I want to go back...lol

Sorry about the thread hi jack Curtis.

Cute kid you got there Curtis. Has some of your 'overprotective' fatherly instincts kicked in yet...? Just wait till she's a teenager. I could definately see a nice little gun rack in the TA.

You know...I have no problem letting family take her for a few hours to get me a break.
Julie is hesitant though.

My sister in law was like that with my older nephew. Wouldn't even let my brother take him for an afternoon. She's gotten a little better now that they have twins as well.

Gold, drysuits are for wimps. I did my outdives in a wetsuit and the water was 35 degrees, air temp was around 65 degrees.

heheheee... oh Curtis! here it comes

MINIVAN!

I got one... everyone laughs until their kid has to take a dump... Minivan is one of the few things you can keep a baby-shitter in and not have it get in the way. And not to mention all the other JUNK you have to carry around on a regular basis because you can't deal without it.

Mr. Luos

Julie already has one...kinda.

Vibe. I call it a mini-minivan.

Right on brother... now get a litlle baby potty, and throw it in the back... it will keep you sane. TRUST ME.

Re modding the minivan... yeah you could make it like that one that toasts 'stangs, maor's, viper's, etc.

As much as I hate to say it, dodge started the process with the turbo caravan. Damn thing is fast and if you miss the sticker on the fender you'll get your ass handed to you before you know what is going on.
