does any one know where to get a breakdown of the front hubs and spindle/knuckle on a 2000 4wd frontier?

ok im seeing peices in mine not shown in this breakdown, one is a plastic piece with a spring around it, the other is a needle bearing. both fit inside the spindle over drive shaft. both peices were broken wheni took the hub off, can anyone offer any suggestions

There is a needle bearing in the first diagram, right next to the seal. Most seals are plastic/rubber with springs wrapped around the inside to keep tension on them, is that it?

yeah that sounds it, but i have the auto locking free running hubs. is that supposed to be part of the hub? should i just buy a whole new hub, i cant find anyone that sells that peice. that peice looks like its supposed to be part of the hub when you take it off, by the looks of the chilton manual bought. any places on the internet you suggest to buy a auto locking replacement hub? also maybe you can answer my question in the other post about my abs. when i hit the brakes with alot of pressure there is a lot of vibrating in the pedal and a grinding motor like sound. what in the abs would cause this that i can replace?

i cant find auto locking OEM hubs for a 2000 frontier anywhere online, guess you have to go through a dealer. what are the benefits of having mnual locking warn hubs? i listed to web adresses, what of these thre products would i need to make it work on my truck?

I honestly couldn't tell you any real benefits of manual hubs. I do know that the auto hubs tend to fail under hard four wheeling. The manuals are a lot stronger, and have less parts to fail. The downside is when you need four wheel drive, you need to hop out and lock them in. You could try researching over at www.4x4parts.com
The only part that comes to mind with your ABS, is the big junction block where all the lines run into. Might be a motor going out in there.
For OEM parts, you can try www.courtesyparts.com they have awesome prices.

thanks for all your help. this weekend i changed the axles, wheel bearings and hubs. i went with warn manual locking hubs, installation was very easy. as far as the abs goes, i also found out what was wrong. when i took the whole hub assembly off, i saw the abs rotor wheel/sensor thats on the back of the hub, and it was completely caked with grease from the axle and wheel bearing seal going out, so i guess it couldnt provide the correct signal to the sensor. after i let it sit in a hot tank and scrubbed it down there were absolutly no abs problems. so if it ever comes up in the future its an easy fix.
