Nimpex: strange way to make business

Dear all,
last year, for the first time, I issued an order to Nimpex using their tricky online procedure.
The ordered item was on stock. Due to the language, German only, I made a mistake in ordering, I did not recognized it and nobody from Nimpex told me anything.
After one month of silence, I emailed them and after a few days they informed me about the mistake, so I corrected it and started waiting. After two months from the correction, new email to them asking for infos about the order processing. They read my email but …no answer.
At the fourth months I sent them a new email expressing my disappointment and asking for the order cancellation.
Since I read only positive things about Nimpex, on February this year, while surfing on their website I found some rare DMC decals, on-stock, so I decided to take a second chance. No problem with the online procedure, got the order confirmation and started waiting. Note, I guess there are no more than 700/800 km from me to them.
History’s repeating: one email after one month asking for infos, no reply and a second email after the second month of silence, again, they’re reading my messages but they do not answer to me.
I’m buying over the Internet since probably ten years, from every corner of the world without any particular trouble, with the exception of a gentleman on Ebay.
It is very difficult for me, if not impossible, to understand how is possible to manage in a so ridiculous way a business, especially if the reputation says the contrary.
I’m deeply disappointed about the behaviour of the Nimpex people, concerning me they will no longer exist, and I could issue negative comments only.
Anyone of you had a similar experience ?
Bye: Roberto :shakehead
P.S. Just got an email from MS Hobbies, where I found the same decals. In two days they gave me the availability confirmation and today they shipped the item

Oh that's really sad to hear! I ordered many times from them and with perfect service... If I place a order in the morning I usually get the parcel the next day!!!
And to be honest I never heard anything bad from them...

Yes, this is the point, me too, I always read positive comments.
Anyway, JUST this morning I got an email from them where they write about "a lot of problems with our email server" ...what a coincidence !!!
...And with this kind of troubles there is not even an advice on their homepage, hmmmm :shakehead

Hmmm, this is really strange. I have ordered online from nimpex a lot of times and never had the slightest trouble. I usually received the package after 1 or 2 days. I have been to their shop, too and I always thought this is one of the better organized shops. I guess it is just bad luck or a strange coincidence of some sort and it will be resolved soon.
Please post when you get feedback, I think a lot of people are interested.

I got the feedback this morning, as per my previous post. But they wrote to me only AFTER I emailed them declaring the order cancellation and that a thread would has been open on AF, not fair, definitely. And too late.

You're not the only one. I've ordered a long time ago an S27 update set for my Tamiya Sauber C9. Never heard anything back from them. Not even after 2 reminder emails. I've never ordered from them again since.

Hello,
that's not surprising...
Nimpex is probably one of the best retailer when you go to their shop, but it's surely the worst one by distance !!
They refuse to make any effort to speak English when everybody on earth do and whereas German isn't the most common language...
And as soon as an order doesn't please or inspire them they just ignore that one !!
maybe they have too many customers to act like that ??! :disappoin
I've heard many complaints about Nimpex, but have always been satisfied myself as I've always deal in their store, never by distance !
and I surely won't !

Unfortunaltely because it's the truth... :disappoin
Some weeks ago a friend of mine ordered some plastic display boxes (for more than 200 euros !).
Whereas he completeted the order form, gave the bank card informations, etc, nothing happened !!
That's simply not acceptable, giving bank informations without knowing what will happen (or not) next... not even a word, a mail, nothing !!
like if they disappeared !!
I really hate this way of making business, like if some orders (and so people ? :screwy: ) deserved to be heard and satisfy and some other not...
It's been at least 2 years I hadn't bought anything at Nimpex, because of some disapointments like yours when buying by distance which I heard about, and moreover, even if I always finally got what I wanted, because of their bad communication and lack of effort to communicate in English when you go in the shop or meet them in a hobby meeting !
I have the bad feeling that Nimpex would only like to make business with german people... :disappoin
So everything that doesn't please them, they just ignore it !
It's really a shame because they have many items stocked and good prices, but now I prefer paying more to Dominomodel to get a far better (reliable!) service and a good communication, and moreover Domino is releasing more items and brands than Nimpex.

Yes Phil, this is most hateful aspect.
For the rest, it would be very simple: with sentences like "no foreign orders" or "for domestic market only" they would avoid to make people angry and disappointed, but they're clearly not interested in.
Anyway, the web is full of brilliant examples on how to deal with Customers, Domino is one of them, so ...just move on !
