they're pretty easy to install yourself if you've got some balls ;) otherwise, I really wouldnt pay more than like $50? to get them installed. as far as wiring, its simple....if you want them on all the time and to blink with the turn signals, simply pull your corner out and tap into the wire behind the bulb that blinks and run it back to the marker...if you only want them to blink, pull out your bumper lights and tap into them and run the wires back to the marker...pretty simple intstall, just make sure you tape up the area where you're drilling/cutting so you dont peel up any paint..

shop charges $30-50 depending on they cut they have to make.
the jdm ones have a square kind of cut with little notches. i highly suggest using a dremel. aftermarket ones are generally just a circular cut.

true dat.
I just used a dremel.
I made a template with copper-clad fiberglass (I was at work), or cardboard should work. Made it so that the hole in the template was a specific distance from one of the bottom corners of the template.
Cover the area you are going to cut with masking tape.
Then, I lined that corner up with the front edge of the door, and the bottom edge of the template lined up with the top edge of the rubber strip on the side of the car. I traced the template hole onto the masking tape on the fender.
Using the dremel tool with a cutting disc, I cut out the hole. Make sure to make the hole smaller than you need because you can always trim it back, but if you make it too big, you'll probably need a new fender.
Then do some test-fitting and trim the hole as needed.
Then, flip the template over and use the other side for the other fender.
I was kinda nervous, but it was real easy. Just don't let the dremel kick back on you, or you'll get a nasty scratch across your fender.

that is the best i have at this moment. i can take a closer pic a little later if you need it. i don't know if that is the exact spot they are on SiR. go to the 4th gen site (link in my sig. ;) ) and check out the photos section for JDM & EDM pics. then you can decide where you want to place them.
e-mail me [email protected] if you would like a closer pic of my fender :)
