nice, its good to have factory warrantee when your hooking up your car. now your car is as fast or faster than one of my cars too. :)

OH SHIT! where did you order it from? Is it true you have to get it factory ordered to keep the waranty?
I got 2 grand ready to drop into my Redline. I'm going with Stage 2, GMPP exhaust, K&N typhoon intake, Torue damper, sway bars front and rear and I'm still researching the suspension kit, springs and shocks. I want it to corner like its on rails.

so tell me bro. How much, where you got it and whos gonna install it?

sorry to mislead you guys, but this isnt GMs stage 2 kit. I dont care about my warranty, so im gonna go all out on this car. My goal this summer is mid to low 13's.

All the parts are aftermarket, the injectors i got used for a great deal. Im installing this myself with a buddy of mine. Heres how much i spent

Belt- 35 bucks
Pulley and Hub-100 bucks
Injectors and Wiring Harness- 100 bucks
Gm stage 2 tune- 100 bucks.

So 335 bucks for a gm stage 2 kit that normally runs 600 bucks plus you need the dealer to install it to keep the warranty. I wasnt gonna pay around 800-1000 bucks. Thats just a waste. I bought this car cause i wanted to go fast, i had fun in the 14's with my cavalier, now its time for something faster.

Later this summer im gonna drop a pulley size, put a dual pass intercooler plate on it, and prolly a biggger heat exchanger.

Musashi if you want some good deals, check out the forsale section on cobaltss.net. Also the Delta platform doesnt really need much work to make it handle better, have you really tried throwing the car into some turns? it already handles like its on rails. I would put more money into performance. You dont need to order the stage kits from the factory to keep the warranty. Realistically you dont even need the dealer to install it, but alot of times if it isnt dealer installed, expect a dealership to give you the finger when you want warranty work done. Also ive heard of some dealerships charging 600-1000 dollars for just the install. THe most you should pay is 300 bucks. Ive seen people get it done for 150 though. But in all honesty, if you install some aftermarket parts yourself and have a problem, just remove the pulley and put the stock one on. Dealers are stupid and pretty much just check the pulley and exhaust to see if its modified. They wont check the tune or the fuel injectors.

Wish the BMW dealers were like that. On the 335is with Vishnu's Proceded, if you bring it in for work they've been digging around the ECU area and checking tunes to see whose been screwing with their car.

Are you upgrading your car to beige carpet as well?

Your carpet brings all the boys to the yard... damn right it's plusher than yours!

Looks pretty sweet. I would think you're gonna have to throw on some slicks for low 13's though. How much power do those mods add?

I did my major spring mod, went from a 1996 Mercury Villager (that's a minivan for those that may not know) to a 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4 Off-Road. Definately happy with the upgrade, just unforunate that I had to spend my lfe savings and still owe the rents a couple hundred that I couldn't cover :banghead: Funny part is they took my p.o.s. minivan for $800 on trade (I still can't believe they took it, it was a TERRIBLE shape), anyways, they have a wholesaler that buys shitty old vans and takes them to mexico to use for taxis, so my minivan in now a mexican taxi
