the best heatstaining I've seen... It's way more subtile than most I've seen here... Great work! But I've got 1 complaint.... that seam on the rear tyre..... You really should try to sand it down...

Wow really nice work you done on that bike!!
Can you give me tips on how to install the Carbon Fiber on the rear fender.
I tried on the bike I'm doing and it didn't work.
Thanks!

Perfect job on a wonderful bike! Heat staining is great and decalling is fantastic. Besides the tire seem I would drill out the ventilating holes in the rear disc.
Thanks for showing your work!

The rear rotor is drilled, it's from the Studio 27 PE sheet.
Thanks for the comments guys!

Some of the AMA bikes I've seen have seams down the middle of the tire from the molds. I think it adds a sense of realism.
Awesome work Clay. I can only echo what the others have said.

As you say, most tires actually have the seam in the middle when new. On these model kits I find them a bit unrealistic though as you want the slightly worn look with the heat stained pipes and wheathered engine and chain. Of coarse it's all in the eye of the beholder and builder owns the decision.
About the disc I thought it looked undrilled. I appologize as it wasn't my intention to complain. I just wanted to make some constructive remarks.
My best again
