starter problem villager 93

:banghead: MAY DAY , MAY DAY , PLS HELP.

Hello , i have a problem , i have a 93 villager , everymorning that i start the engine it takes 3 times to do sow and it "CRANKS" horribly. like scraching a nail on the blackboard.
If i turn it off and start it back up fine, but if its off during a long period of time during the day (when im at work) try to start it same issue. What do i do???

It sounds like your starter is going bad. The sound you hear is the starting teeth grinding and the reason it takes longer to start when its been sitting is because the starter soliniond is bad and draining your battery. Common problem.
